    Default Buckets full...

Found spawning fish in 8-10 foot waters. Brenda hand lined in one in that weighed 1 1/2 pounds.

Fish still full of eggs and we caught a mix of the sexes. Water temp was 68-70 degrees. I was gonna take a snapshot of the crappie bed, but the HB crapped it pants. Never fails.

Thumbs up Nice goin, Tom/Ms Brenda ....

Looks like ya'll gotta mix of Blacks/Whites.

If you caught'em spawning at 8-10ft, this late in the process .... maybe they was trying to hide from all them boats, that's been pounding your neck of the woods :p

Did your "bird" help you find these deep spawners, or did you just go to your super secret hotspots :D

I believe the clear water and bright sun made the crappies spawn deeper . I caught very few fish in my "go to" shallow locales. The fishes are still spawning deep. We pulled in females with eggs still dripping from them. That tells me something.

Water was clear enough here to see 4 foot with ease. All this rain oughta fix this though. I ain't seen crappies spawn this deep in a loooooong time. Storm moved in on us, so if anyone wanna come smell the eggs in my boat carpet, come on down. I didn't get it clean out. Windy. Dirty boat till next week.

I found the spawners with the SI. Also found a bunch of brimmies bunched up in the bay east of and next to britton ford.
