I and my family appreciate your prayers and thoughts. My brother Wayne has had a roller coaster time with his heart and kidney issues. Several years ago, I posted that he had went on the route 66 road trip and made it to New Mexico and suffered hard breathing issue and had a heart attack. Lucky for him he was near one of the best hospitals in the US and was saved. He spent about a month out there waiting to get strong enough to fly back to Charlotte. His trip insurance paid the whole bill and provided a flying nurse to accompany him all the way back to his house here in Rock Hill and get him settled in before leaving him. What a great service to have. Over the next few years, he was in and out of the hospital with his problems getting worse. He was born with only one kidney, and it's been getting weaker as his heart wasn't strong enough to keep it working properly. His issue this last couple of months has been the kidney shutting down. He has had a heck of a good life before all the health issues started and we all hate this happened to him. He was ready with Jesus! I will tell you that hospice was a really good service they were there at every moment the family needed them. They predicted two days max and was on the mark, and it helped us get everyone in to see Wayne for his final moments of life. My whole family thanks you from the bottom of all our hearts. CDC is a great community of friendship and big hearts so a big thank you too all!
