Old man still got it! Man that's bad
Since today was my only day off work this weekend I wasnt going to let a bunch pf pleasure boaters keep me off the water so I was unloading at 6AM this morning. Wasnt long before I had lines out and was catching fish. Like planned, I stayed until the sun got warm and had the boat back on the trailer at 9AM and headed home as planned.
I only seen 2 other boats that was longlining and 2 more pleasure boaters out before I called it quits. I kept the first 6 small fish I caught to eat off the bone and then I culled TWICE before quitting. It's bad when you have to throw back 12" fish because they are the smallest. HA!
Anyway, here's a pair so you can see the size of some I caught...
...and the Georgia limit that came home.
Total caught was 85 crappie with 30 in the box. IMO not too bad on a holiday and for 3 hours of fishing.

You are a brave man, but the reward was worth the risk. Our boat moved today only so I could access the air compressor sitting behind it. The lakes around here are so crazy on holidays I "willingly" stayed here and pressure washed the house. October can't get here soon enough.
Glad you had a blessed day..

Wow, very nice. I’ve intentionally stayed away from the lakes this weekend. Great job.
