    Default Santee Cooper 2/19/18

Water temp. 61 when I arrived at 9a.m. this morning. Water temp 65 when I left at 3:30p.m. The day started off slow but picked up as the day began to warm up. With it being over cast the fish where high in the water coulum. As the sun broke through the deeper you had to set your baits. All and all a good day finished with a one man limit of fish. With soild black and lime and white being best colors.Name: Resized_20180219_164134.jpg

Thanks for the info inkdabber. Water temp Kerr Lake NC/VA yesterday 52. We're coming down Sat for a week staying at Blacks, fishing both lakes possibly depending on wind. We've had good luck last 3 years and looking forward to trip. Thanks again for info and hope to see you at some of the ramps. Tomcat61, Mayo Flash and friends.

You've hit it just about perfect, shouldn’t have any trouble catching plenty, with quality fish in the mix. All techniques are working well at this time, with fish be caught throughout the water column as more and more fish continue to move to the shallows.
