Default Great Falls Lake (Between Fishing Creek lake and Stumpy Pond)

Anyone ever fished this with a kayak or Jon boat? Seems like under that 200/97 bridge would be good, but I've only ever seen bank fishing going on.

I've fished it some. Most of the time, the power plants are shutting on and off every half hour or so. Every time they open or close a gate, a 2' tall wave comes down or goes up the lake. It's enough to capsize a small john boat.

I've heard there's a boat landing close to Duke powers substation that some folks had access to. I've heard it called Dearborn lake,I think. I'd love to be able to get up above that small dam upstream of the Debutairy creek access
