Default Back in the saddle (boat) again

Back in the summer my health took an abrupt turn and knocked me out of the saddle. So much so that I thought my very brief fishing career was over and I consigned my boat. Things have turned out much better than expected and I'm feeling like a new (well refurbished) man. I actually went and got my boat back today! (Thank goodness it didn't sell)

Been catching up on missed threads and see my favorite Lake Succession has found favor with some of you guys. Heading there as soon as I can.

Glad you got over whatever is ailing. My boat want be sold until I am planted. I went to secession while it was turning over and did not do good but I hear it is getting better. I am leaving Tuesday of next week to go to Kentucky and fish Kentucky lake for a couple days.

Can't really say I'm over it (blood chemistry is a fickle thing when complicated by diabetes) but I'm doing better and no where near ready to give up my ghost.

I'm sure you'll let us how the trip goes complete with pics. I hope you have a blast as it is much deserved.

A wreck by a drunk driver kept me off the lakes for about 7 months. Then a follow up surgery another 3 months. I can tell you that once you get an opportunity to go back, it just might be more special than ever before! Hope your health stays great and the fish welcome you back with open fins! (And mouths! )

Welcome back and hope the best for you.
Don, go slay'em at Kentucky Lake. Be safe and enjoy your trip.
I hope to be back fishing myself next year. Working on it anyway.
