Nice will be going to my coworkers house to fish his pond in couple weeks also, he has many bream over a pound.
Our Wildlife club has two small ponds, the larger one being maybe an acre or so. One of our member's son is an avid bass fisherman and fishes on his high school fishing team.(Where was this when I went to school?)
Anyway, he and a friend were fishing in our pond today and hooked this buster in about a foot of water. They estimated it at 5-6 lbs and I'd say that looks pretty close, more toward 6 than 5. They released him back into the pond to continue thinning the large population of small bream we have.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men

That is a nice one, and I can't help but to notice that little tree in the picture, looks like a Catawba tree?
I've heard it speculated that the next record bass is probably gonna come from a pond.
Wow nice bass that sure put a smile on him. There is something really special about sharing those moments with love ones.
"Smiles don't leave a lake without one.""White Perch the other white meat."
"CK the Official Tester of floating nets".
That is a good pond bass.
