I use 100 Octane Aviation gas myself. It has to be stable for one year. I still add a little Ring Free to it also. My 4 stroke Yamaha loves that 100 octane. And my other home equipment does also. I know that it cost more but I don't us that much in these motors.

Unless you know that the owner before you used ethanol gas, I think I would stick with non-ethanol gas. You get some build up of deposits in fuel lines and such over time and the ethanol gas can strip some of this and potentially cause issues. You may want to add SeaFoam or an equivalent and gradually clean up the system. I have an older boat and motor and use non-ethanol and looked into using ethanol gas but decided against it after doing a little research.

Ethonal does not damage (for the most part) when in use....its when you let it sit that it does its most harm.

Startron is excellent stuff. Most walmarts ive walked into as of late have them on clearance now.
MOST QTs have non ethonal fuel. look for the red nozzels!
