    Hello everyone , quick question for anyone that fishes the upper end of Santee , how far above Packs Landing can you fish in a 19' aluminum boat. Thanks

    You can go up into Sparkleberry Swamp and you can actually navigate over to Broadwater but if you are not really familiar with the area you can get lost real easy. If you turn right out of Packs there is a channel through the woods into Sparkleberry and it is marked well enough that you should be OK finding your way in and out of there.
    Of course you can follow the channel by the railroad trestle over to the river and go into the Low Fall area are go up river to Broadwater.
    Ask the guys at Packs, they can show you on a map the areas I mentioned.

    Lugoff , if you take the wateree and Columbia if you stay in the congaree.
