    There is a cheep way to find out. Take a straight wall glass jar, mark in 10 equal segments. (centimeters, inches whatever as long as they are equal) fill 1 segment with water and 9 with gas, put the lid on and shake. Let everything settle, however far the water line is above the first segment is how much ethanol is in the gas.
