Default Hartwell Fall Crappiefest date poll - please re-vote

We have decided to remove a couple of the dates from the poll because of Clemson home football games.
This will give everyone that wants to stay overnight a better choice of where to stay. Twin Lakes Campground is at this complex also if you want to camp. I do plan on camping and will post a link for the campground.

The Fall Crappiefest will be held at Twin Lakes Ramp on Lake Hartwell. We will run this poll for a week and next Friday we will make a post with all the details of the event with the winning date.Thumbs Up

If you had voted before please re-vote.

    Thanks, Ronnie and Jimmy

Do the CORP annual park passes work at Twin Lakes? I've never launched on the Carolina side of any of the Savannah River lakes where a fee is charged.

This should put me in Clemson the 22nd for a weekend of football and prefishing. Got a little game plan in the works.

Why do you pay to park at a corps area, wasn't it your tax dollars that built the thing, Is it not your tax dollar that keep it up, is it not your tax dollars that pay the corps their wages, So why do you pay to park or use a corps area when you already paid through your tax dollars. Thumbs Up

I don't know the answer to that beagler. There are several ramps you don't have to pay at, but they are not as nice and safe as the pay ramps. I usually buy a $30 tag for the truck that I can use at any ramp. I always forget to have cash with me anyway so it is easier for me.

CB, if you have a plan I may have to follow you our from the boat ramp

I pay state taxes every month but I had to buy a state park pass too. Wouldnt surprise me when (and I say 'when' just cause they aint thought of it yet) we have to pay taxes on the taxes.

A plan is all that it is...just been studying the map and thinking back to stuff I fished while I was at school. Normally, my plans don't work too well so you might had better watch me leave and then go the opposite direction!
