Remember you have to very different cone angles and at that low a speed I wouldn't expect the DI to pick up as much as your seeing on 2d
Yes, I have great brush piles but I must have my down image out of sorts as I do not think there were that many fish there.

Like Cray mentions - cone angles of 2d vs DI are very different ...
DI is very thin front to back ...
2d covers as much in front ... as in back ... as to right ... as to left ...

I don't do fish id but as aforementioned the 2D is seeing a lot of brush. With that much brush its normal to run into target separation issues with 2D. 2D and DI look fine. You can lower 2D sensitivity and/or run in clear mode to change the way 2D looks...
