    One thing I find interesting, is the more solid ring, where the "rim" of the barrel is.

    Wow. That would be handy to have a place that shallow to sink cover that would hold fish
    on the road again...just can't wait to get back to...TOLEDO BEND

    In the red circle it looks to me like two stacks of tires with a limb tied to them.

    Looks like a piece of old roadbed. The right upper looks like roadbed!

    Nice pics. I can't imagine sinking cover that shallow, those drums are not cheap. Would love to sink some in around 20 fow for the lakes around here for year round use.
