    Default Helix Mega 9 SI


    Awaiting my new purchase as we speak. I'm going from the helix 5 Si gen 2 to the mega 9. I have fabricated a mount to run on the bow of my boat. I ran the 5 on my TM and it worked good. Anyone running the 9 mega with any tips or tricks?

    I guess there was one negative aspect of my old Mega 9, but only when used for portaging: it was BIG

    Coincidentally I went to a Helix 5 SI G2 for that reason

    As you get older bigger is better when comparing units with similar features, the old eyes ain't what they used to be.
