Default Humminbird Helix 12 Chirp Mega

I am ready to buy but cant decide if I want SI on bow... What's the difference in DI on the Helix 12 Chirp Mega SI GPS G2N and Helix 12 Chirp Mega DI GPS G2N (non SI)? It looks like the SI is non chirp in DI... If that is correct is SI a good choice for the bow?

I have seen a few comparison pictures on Facebook and other places. It looks to my old eyes that as sharp as the SI is the straight mega DI is even sharper. If I used DI much and not so much SI and only 1 unit the Mega DI would be my choice.

HELIX CHIRP MEGA SI and HELIX CHIRP MEGA DI both have a dedicated DI piezo (DI model just does not have SI transmitters nor SI piezoes = saves $$) ...

HELIX CHIRP MEGA DI can display MEGA SI when Ethernet connected to HELIX CHIRP MEGA SI units ...

All models of HELIX G2 and G2N transmit CHIRP in all Sonar technologies within that model capability ...

Should be identical would be my guess - same frequency Chirp coverage listed, only the MDI XDCR has a much wider 2D Chirp range for the MDI unit and I'm betting the MSI will have a low Q Chirp option soon as with v 1.610 you can use the MDI XDCR on the MSI units by XDCR Selection menu.

I'm wanting to test an MDI if I can when the ice goes - but the bonuses I was used to have really shriveled to nothing and I ain't got a $100 bill still out back fermentin' up some new moneyshine brew.
