    Default Garmin Echomap 74sv

My Echomap came with a GT51M-TM transducer with frequencies of 260/455 kHz Chirp. Which would be the best setting for 20' of water side scan detail images?

Lower frequency will give more coverage - with less detail ...
Higher frequency will give more detail - with less coverage ...

Use both = dependent on which frequency the task at hand best utilizes ...

Since I fish mostly in 50' or less maybe I need to get a different transducer to get the quality images I've seen on some of these sites.
