your drying rack is awesome.

those are a bannana head jig. here is a pic of some 1oz. I am working on for flounder fishing. thanks for the compliment on the drying rack I use it to dry the eyes and glue after tying. the rack you see on the table under the box is what I use to cure the heads in my toaster oven. I powder paint everything. oh by the way I've got the molds to pour that head from 1/8 oz. to 2oz. the best head I have found for trolling for stripers.
great job....awesome looking jigs

yellow dog those are awesome thats what i am wanting to make myself...
how does the bucktail get so bushy???
it is a combanation of two things one is the hair I have some that are super straight and then the full flair I call it. The other thing is how much pressure you put on the thread when you wrap and there is a little flair collar on the head. Does not matter to me cause when I put a trailer on the jig it helps to flair it also. Also most people mess up when tying by putting to much hair and it will not flair or flow right when in the water. less is more in this case.
what type of thread you using?? do you tie any other patterns?

I am using a size E thread that use to be made by guidbro. but they have went out of business. Found another supplier though real cheap and good thread. being tying with it for about 3 months now. 25.00 or so for 3500 yards. yes I do tie a few varations with 2 tone hair on some.
