It's been a busy month of June, I've been on the water every day and the local fishing continues to improve. We are now fishing in 70 to 100 feet of water just inside the commercial fishing nets. A good number of rainbows are now being caught. Yesterday we landed a 13.48 pound rainbow. This Thursday we went 10 for 20 catching all rainbows and one lake trout. Every fish was taken on the planner boards. Only one downrigger bite all afternoon. Surface water temperatures are now in the lower fifties.
