    Default 16ft Equipment Trailer Repair

I have this old trailer that I used to haul a Yamaha Rhino crossways on the front and a Polaris Ranger Crew on the back back and forth hunting. Well my equipment trailer had something on it so I used this trailer to move my Bobcat. Bad decision. As I loaded the Bobcat it bent the frame on this trailer to the point I just pushed it out in the woods. Well now I need it to load the 12,000lb Lift on.

The deck boards were already going way down hill. I got to fix this trailer and have it road worthy within a few days.

As my dad always said… there’s always something needing fixing.

No doubt you will make short work of this project

Sorry, if I am not understanding this. The Bobcat bent the frame, but you intend to put something on it that could weigh 1.5-2 times more than the Bobcat?

I think he is referring to the how much the lift will handle. Not the physical weight of the lift itself

Here is a picture of the lift. The top rail with the RAM and the ramps are the most weight.

Slab I warned you I keep a lot of projects. There are few who don't just shake their heads when they take in all the projects I have going at the same time. Jack's right, I have to knock this thing out quick. Using some 8x8 blocks and my backhoe bucket I should be able to bend the frame back straight then weld the angle iron back in that I cut out before replacing the boards. The Backhoe is over 11,000lbs. I can use the back of the bucket to do a controlled bend.

Gotcha! I thought you might have been talking about a big forklift.
