Default WTB Triton TA 196 crappie edition

I was looking at a used Xpress H18PFC but I think I would be happier with the stability of a glass boat. These seem to be around the same price range as a used H18pfc, but hard to find. Anyway, does anyone know where to find one?

Search the web and when you find one be ready to load up and go get it right that minute.. they don’t come available much and don’t last long when they do.

I was afraid of this. I may need to reevaluate my strategy for getting a good boat because I really don't want to wait forever for one of these to surface. Any suggestions? Probably the subject for a new thread in a different forum but I'm wanting something stable in the wind and I would like to be able to fish bigger, open water. I really don't know if I need glass, but all of the benefits that I'm reading about it seem to address problem areas that I'm having.

Rees, that's probably the best advice I've received so far. I've been chomping at the bit. But I'm still catching fish so I should be patient.

Every time I rush things I screw up, it will be worth the wait. I almost bought a boat this spring, not what I wanted but bigger than the one I'm in. The one I'm in is safe and a fish catching machine plus handles three grown men on the front deck when I'm guiding. I held off and resisted, still on the look out for what I'm wanting. Current rig is almost 30 years old but the clients don't seem to mind near as much as I do.
    Good luck in your search.

A glass boat is on my want list as well. My Carolina Skiff is a fishing machine but the wind and waves kill me in it.

Look for a 185 or 188 Ranger. The storage and stability is second to none. I have been running a 2010 188 Ranger/ 150 Yamaha 4stroke. Bought it new for $29,600. Ran the first day without the plug in. Runs better with it in!!

I watched and waited for around 6 months before I found exactly what I wanted.
