    dem big cheeks will supply some right decent chomp down force for sure .....ouch time

    There's teen age girls catching big catfish over 50 lbs. by hand so thought this channel cat is a piece of cake. Really didn't hurt but bled for awhile since I'm on blood thinners. Released everything but did manage to find some chiggers to bring home with me.

    I hate those chiggers! Them and no see ums on the coast are the scourge of the dedicated fisherman.

    Izorline is some good line and cheap. I'm sure the break strength is over 3# but it casts like 2# and I don't think I would have caught the channel cat with a line that breaks at 2#. Never let's me down.

    Ah, the sacrifices we make to get a fish landed. That's a heck of a nice catfish on super light line and tackle. Good job!
