    Default Tough Day

Very tough out on Bald Knob Lake today. The beds were void of fish, well maybe 1 or 2 on a bed. Spent 4 hours on the water and only had about 7 of what I would call quality fish. But I really enjoyed what I caught. Used Diplomat Extreme 62 UL with a Daiwa Ballistic FW reel spooled with ES 2 Lemoni Ester. Had a 1 gram tungsten jig head dressed with a Sow Bug colored Trout Magnet. This 250 acre lake should have a lot bigger population of fish than it does. Gonna have try to find somewhere else to check out.

Sure looked like you had beautiful weather conditions for your outing and you didn’t get skunked.

I’m with Buckeye, no skunk and a good day out. The fish in the third pic is colored up nice too. I’m without a boat and waiting for a rod so you’re way ahead of the game compared to me. I wondered yesterday if being off the full moon if the fish would be off too.

It's because you mixed an abu garcia rod with a daiwa reel, the fish don't like that
