Default Stren Gold 2 lb substiute?

Stren Gold 2 lb has been the line I've used for years. I noticed I have some reels that slinkyed on me when I was at the pond. Tells me it is time to get some new line. I did a fair amount of Googling and found no source of the 2 lb Stren Gold. Plenty of 4 lb. Looked at the Varivas website but they make so many different lines, it is confusing.
Can anyone recommend a bright 2 lb monofilament line I can buy in bulk at price that won't make me wince, and a place I can purchase it? Thanks in advance.

btw: Slinkyed is when I cast out and the line sits on the water like a Slinky on a tile floor.

I personally use trout magnet line.

    #2lb Trout SOS line.

I do have a couple new spools of 2lb Stren Crappie Gold line I’d let you have.

I just checked my stock and found four full unopened spools of 2 lb Stren Gold. I don't know how old they are but will have to check. If they are still usable I'm set for a while. If not back to my search.

If it isn't dry rotted, spray some reel magic on it, take the spool off and run hot water over it. Amazing how it usually takes the memory out of the line and gets rid of the slinky.

I found the same stuff but don't remember what it cost. Hard to find 2# line any where around here. Found this by accident over near Portland. Normally I use 4# line on my ultra light reels. I'm thinking it was a Bass Pro Shop where I found it!
