    that spot will produce a few just a tad over the 10 mark , but yes sir , that is the limit in these parts in most cases

    Very much the same around here. The biggest bluegill I've measured was 10.5 inches. I know I've never caught one over 11 inches, and I suspect I've only caught a very few at 10 inches. Hundreds of 9 inchers and thousands of 8 inchers, but once you get above about 9.5 inches they are rare around here.

    That's a monster for sure. VA has 11" for a length citation bluegill, pretty unrealistic

    that is fact , have seen a very few bluegill in most places that exceed 10 inches , some in a few lakes out west and few farm pond raised versions in other sots , but a regular ole non bred to be big bluegill is almost never over that magic 10 inch mark
