Great report and good to hear you are getting out. The wind has been
stupid out here.
Are there Redear in the pond? Some of those BGs look like they have
Some RE in them....
went to the duck pond the other day , I had to feel a pull , took a number 8 jighead ,a bottle of berkley crappie nibbles glo white ,a float ,a number 11 zebco with 6 lb mono and an ice fishing rod that's about as light as it gets and 3.5 feet long and played lets try to ketch some winter gills .....
so even though I am slowly returning after my health issue , I am not out of the game . didn't ketch lots but they were ok size for the most part and pulled like they meant it ....
not bad for an hour and they were quite tricky to ketch , lots of float downs and no fish ?
let em swim on as I normally do ....hope you enjoy the photos

Never ketched anything but bluegill in the way of sunfish there and I seen one tiny green one time ,but you never know , I fished one pond 5 years and never saw a red ear and a guest managed a real big one last year ....
Seen similar things in other ponds as well and would swear there wasn’t a whatever in it and then along comes one ...
Never say never don’t ya know ...lol
