I was wondering if both Gills and Crackers will hit the European Crawlers?

I know yall are poking fun at this, but I thought I've read that either the gills, crackers prefer the small red wigglers over the night crawlers. I was just trying to check that info. out. Sorry about a stupid question....
Gills will eat almost anything they can fit in their mouths.
Having said that, I never use worms for them. Much prefer small grubs: maggots, wax worms and mealworms.
My grand mother always out a "MEAT MARKET" night crawler on her gold eagle claw long shank size 10 hook .tied on to 30 lb.test braid under a bobber , using a 12Ft cane pole. Her thoughts were, "If something big swims along and see's the little ones tearing into it they might want a bite. She was happy with a 1" Blue Gill or a 3Ft. carp.
We use them in So Cal for Coppernose @ Lake Perris (smaller worms) and Redear & Bluegill @ Lake Havasu (large worms - they can get big). Easy to keep in the heat (while fishing) and at home....
That's a great picture. What lake was she fishing?
