    Default TN shell crackers.

I spent the morning catching drag pulling shell cracker.....and a few bass.... nuisance fish....LOL. A lot of fun using a Bison colored Trout Magnet and 2# test line. Used a 1/24 ounce jig head twitching along bare bottom in 5-8 feet of water when I could find the holes in the milfoil. The rod today was a Mega Bass Shoreluck Limited 6' 9" solid tip. First time I've used this rod even though I have had it for 8 months. It just looked too good to use. It did not disappoint. The rod is extremely sensitive and very crisp...great for Gills and shell cracker but probably not so good for crappie. This may be my last day of bank fishing for a while. I will certainly still fish the banks from time to time as it has taken me years to find those spots. Driving down to Florida in the morning to get new boat. Hopefully it will be rigged with electronics over the Labor Day weekend. Using the Trout Magnet out of a boat...a game changer. Life is good!

The pics of your boat look great. Can't wait to see it when you get that wrap put on it. The bluegill better look out. They won't be able to hide when you get that boat in the water.

My favorite fish to catch. I have caught 100# fish out of ocean, but this is the way to go.

It is black and meal worm color. I have used it for several years and it is deadly on Gills....crappie.
