I've been getting fish throughout the day, but the males have been getting on the banks in the late evening.
I haven’t had a chance to fish in several weeks and when I did fish, the bite didn’t heat up until almost noon. Are u guys catching good fish at sunup now or is it a little later in the morning?
Fished this past weekend in Eufaula. Felt it was typically the same as usual (early mornings and evenings) although we did get a nice run on fish around 10pm at night too (fishing in our dock in about 20 feet of water)
Water was 56 degrees and part of me does't think they are spawning yet. If that's the case, then this next 2 weeks they should really start doing well.
where are you finding 56 degree water at? Is that measured or what ch 6 had. Maybe it is that cold by dam.
We have caught fish in spurts throughout the day. They would be on then off. But have had no problem catching what we need.
I to want to know where you’re water is 56 degrees?! Seems like most waters on eufaula i’ve been to are higher than 70 degrees.
I saw it listed by the usgs and then the Oklahoma wildlife report. We were getting measurements around 57 - 60 around highway 9 marina and thought maybe ours was off. Surface temperature I showed at our dock to be 67.
Hunt the fish and they'll bite all day long. That's called catching. I think fishing is being stationary and waiting for the fish to come to you. I believe there are fish that are docile and not feeding, and groups that are actively feeding.

I fished with Josh Jones yesterday, probably boated 250 females. They bit from 7:30am til 3pm when we quit.
