After a bout of Cancer (lukemia) last year and all the financial troubles that come with it. I have not been able to get out to the lake. Mainly, well, I lost my truck due to finances. However, with the boat sitting loanly in the drive, I was able to get out a few days and catch some. Sand bass mainly, by the hundreds. But a few nice crappie here and there. Sure can't wait to get another vehicle capable of pulling the nitro so I can get back on the water.Name: IMG_0519.jpg

Sounds as if you've licked the leukemia, and praise God for that. I've had three bouts with cancer and two non-cancerous tumors. Will be praying for you buddy, and hopefully you'll soon be back on your feet financially. Glad you were able to get out and surround a few pisces.

Yes sir I am cancer free. Lucky enough to get a highly curable kind of lukemia. So....now to find a boat puller so I can get back on the water.
    I fear no fish

Sunday ~15 fow on structure. Jigs and minnows. Didn't try it up shallow but water was way up.

Monday tried the same strategy. Wind made it tough. Fought it for a while and caught a few then tried some banks with bobbers, nothing.

What's the water looking like at the Lake? Thinking about going towards the end of the week if we don't get too much rain tonight.

I went on Saturday, April 22nd. The water was high then and we could not even access the brush piles we wanted to fish from the bank. The water is up 10 feet this morning from then. I imagine it looks pitiful!!

Went up to Winganon, and Spencer Creek. Water was extremely high at both places and really stained. Went to Claremore Lake and caught a few up shallow and called it a day. Hope the weather holds and be safe if you are out on the water.
