Hey guys I know alot of you like to use an 8 pole setup. You might want to look at the 2013 OK fishing regulations.
    rod and reel:
A person may use up to seven
rods while fishing unless restricted further
    under “Special Area Regulations.”

LOL, get into a brush pile, sand bass, hybrids, or an old trotline and 6 is more than enough.

The heavier the rod the better it sits in the rod holder, if the tips are moving alot fish wont bite as much. Remember crappie like a slow subtle movement. Same rigs. weights, spacing between the rods, 1 1/2 ft from water, etc.= Less Tangles! EB

I've purchased all of my spider rig equipment from Monk's... B n M Prostaff rods, HT 5500 reels, terminal tackle for Capps and Coleman rigs, etc. and have been very happy with prices and service. Monk is my go to guy. The only thing I don't like about the 5500 reels is that they don't have a thumb bar, but for $100 for a box of 4 I can live with it. They have a very smooth drag and are nice and light.
