Entry fee is $60. $10.00 goes towards big fish which pays two paces. 70% to first and 30% to second. $10 goes into a collection for the end of the season gathering to help purchase supplies and food. That leaves $40.00 to go towards the 7 fish weigh in. There is one paid place for each 5 boats entered. If 5 boats enter we pay one place. If ten boats we pay 2. If 15 boats we pay three and so on. Hope to see you at registration notime. Come meet some great guys as well as some excellent crappie fishermen.

Our 2012 Spring and Summer Trail the entry fee was $50 a team or single entry. $10 going towards Big Fish and $40 towards place finishers. When we had our Classic it was noticed very fast the cost of renting a building with A/C for our Crappie fry and Meeting was expensive including the oil, plates, ect. your getting the picture and not including the time and gas expenses to try and secure these things. So at the Classic Meeting everyone there decided to include a $10. fee for entry making it a $60 entry. The reason we decided on everyone leaving at the sametime from sign-in was the tournament directors were always staying til 7:30 while everyone else was already on the water so to make it as fair as we can that was decided. As the rules state we would pay 1 place for every 5 boats. I was the sponsor on Tenkiller last year and we had 13 teams entered if I recall correctly and I made the decision to pay 3 places. If we had 12 boats I think I would of done the samething. First place still paid the same. My partner and I were the second place team and the payout came out of our winnings to pay a third place. Its all about making it fun and everyone having the same chance in an honor system. We even decided to pay 2 places for Big Fish this year instead of just 1 like last year which adds to the excitement.

I believe we will be looking for new Tournament Directors to take over next year so be thinking about that as well. It has helped out so much to have a few of you stepping up and being Lake Sponsors and Directors of different lake Tourneys. I myself would help when I can but with my Guiding Service and trying to get it started I need to concentrate on that first hand. I have also fished 4 new lakes the last 5 months and I plan on fishing out of state this year several times and exploring the opportunities to fish a few Crappie Masters Tournaments for my sponsor.

See everyone at Kaw, DRIVE SAFELY........Ranger

Several of us are eating at Head Country friday night in Ponca. Josh (swollencrappie) has recommended this establishment to us so if your up that way I am offering a standing invite to all to come and share in the fun...and I am not buying....it will be after we get off the water and clean up some so I would say probably 7:30pm or so but thats just a guess...If we knew how many migh show up and if the have a meeting room maybe we could secure that as well..chime in Josh.....Ranger
