Since September, Draper has risen about 6.5 ft. and the models predict that it should come up enough that by Summer 2013, people will be able to launch small boats off the main boat ramp. However, last year we had a drought year and predictions are that this year and possibly the next will be a continuation of last year's drought conditions. If that happens, since the North Canadian River drainage has been most severely affected, the City will depend heavily on Draper Lake as our main water supply and higher use from Draper could delay filling the lake to a usable elevation for an unknown time.
