    Default Ok C.C Annual Meeting March 26th 2011


    We have a date and place for our next meeting of the OK C.C members and guests. The meeting will be March 26th at Longtown/#9 Community Center starting at noon. Tentative schedule is to cater BBQ for noon with speakers and door prizes to follow. More info to follow. I am sure Leland will post the directions on here also. As we get closer we will need a fairly accurate count so we can order the food.

    As always these are open to members, guests, and Lurkers:D.

    I love meeting all you folks and talkin crappie fishing and tactics, nice too see all the new members coming in as well. Sissy and I want to have more time to talk with everyone vs. the last 2 meetings, so catered lunch will allow for that. Chatt is coming this year and I'm sure Danny Bowen with the ODWC fisheries will too. I will ask Eufaula Boy to invite the crappie tournament directors as well. Already have sample baits and a new jighead design from Slabbandit. We are also introducing new models of rods this spring and will draw for 2 rods this year. My elbow is getting jiterrryyy.....ooohhhh.....sorry gonna have to go fishin tommorrow!:D

    Just my .02, but we can fish all year, and we only have one c.com meeting a year, Thanks, Leland for taking charge and getting it on the calender!

    I will give the caterer an estimate on the #'s we expect and get a quote, will post that next. Thanks all for your help. See ya there!
    Got the quote from Massey's BBQ, $8.89 per person @ 100 head count. Includes 2-meats 2-sides, pickles, bread & sauce and they only charge a $20.00 serving fee. I dont think we can beat that for BBQ?

    We(2) Wouldn't miss it. Going to have to set up a count down clock for it. Only 81days till Ok C.C Annual Meeting. Leland, do you have Paypal or something set up so that we can donate to the cause?
