Fished the South end today unloading at 7am and the bite was slow. Well ok maybe thats alil off...It was very bad early. Fished my stuff from wood to rock from Jackson to Upper Wildwood early and had 4 in the LW at 9:30am..Lost 3 at the top of the water but probably caught 30 from 3" to 6" in length. Then the bite turned red hot...at 12 noon had 19 and ended up with 37 total keepers today and left the lake at 1:30pm...Baits of choice today were Bobby Garland Baby Shads and Bobby Garland Baby Shads..Yes Bobby Garland Baby Shads..Blue Thunder and Black Shad were the hot colors..All my big fish came from rocks in 12' to 14' DOW..heres just 2 of those Blacks and I had a LW full..we only kept our limit so don't get all upset.....Ranger

Looking at these Ft. Gibson, Eufaula and Oolagah threads make me dream of retirement 20 years from now, lol. I'm moving to one of these lakes then. In the mean time I wish we had waters like that here in the city. Nice fish Ranger.

Like ranger said.. Bite was slow and fish were spread out early.. We ended up with 16 and left by noon. We had 5 fish come off at the top of the water and lord knows how many short fish we had.. Hair jigs and lake fork shad worked for us.
