    Default Proud Pop

Lots of big things going on in My household right now. My daughter Kristen will be a new student at East Carolina University starting on August 19. She is excited and so are Her Mom and I.

I found out last night that My Son Ricky is now an engaged Man. His new Bride to be is a very nice, pretty and smart young lady and My Wife and I could not be more happy for them. I feel like I am getting old very fast!CF

Congrats Pop! Sounds like you and your wife have a pair of winners; and that doesn't come easy nowadays. You're not old yet; there are many years of good things ahead. The Lord has blessed you both.

Congrats Ed. My kids are much younger, but it sure is a great feeling as you see them pass milestones, both large and small.

Just sold an old pop up camper that was on its last leg. I didn't want another project besides my boat to take on. The boss lady and I were talking about getting a new one next year when I get a loan paid off and she mentioned that we need one to accommodate grand kids! I almost crapped my britches and choked on some food I was eating. I said "now just hang on one dang minute!" she interrupted me and said "You know it might not be much longer." I could not say anything then. I know she is right. That is scary!CF
