    Default Rez Question/ Spawning question

I'm sure this has been talked about but I have only been a crappie fisherman for about 15 years and this is the 1st time I have ever seen fish full of eggs. I may be wrong(would not be the 1st time) but I don't think fish are going to spawn this year. I have caught a bunch of crappie this year from the rez and I have yet to catch a female without eggs still in her. Please, someone tell me yall are catching some that have spawned out. As good as it has been this year, I am worried about 2-3 years from now.

Most of the ones I caught a little over a week ago had spawned out.

Don’t worry. You can catch spawners into June a lot of years. The great thing about the Rez with all its shallow weedy areas and consistent water levels it never has a “bad” spawn.

SOME HAVE SOME HAVE NOT AND SOME STILL WILL . THAT IS MY OPINION . SOME WILL LAY DEEP AS IN 8 - 10 FT . THAT IS WHERE THEY ARE NOW . SOME HAVE JUST LAID PART OF THERE EGGS . ALL ARE NOT THE SAME SIZE . HATCHES WILL HATCH AT DIFFERENT TIMES . IT IS ALL GOOD .
    CATCH THEM ALL.
