That is a day in our History that will long be remembered. I find it very wrong that the people's families that died that day received Millions of Dollars and the real Hero's ( the ones that risked their lives to save the many) received very little compensation for their contribution. Many are still living with lung diease and other injuries that they got trying to help others in need during that time. They are refused medical treatment from injuries they recieved from helping their fellow man.
My Son-In-Law is on the Ralston Volunteer Fire Dept. He was one that volunteered to go and help in NY but their Dept was so small they couldn't let anyone go.
This Post wasn't meant to take anything away from your thread, Gordon. But to add to the Heroism of the men and women who volunteered so instinctively without forthought of what the consquences might be. I salute each and every one of the men and women that put their lives on the line everyday to protect the innocent. EB
