Dapet I also got the 12 adapter. I took and cigarette lighter plug and attached it to the adapter and joined it all together and taped the connections. I have a place to plug the cigaretter lighter adapter in the boat. I tried it out this afternoon but without shiners. I will do that tomorrow hopefully. It does run quiet, just a slight hum.

A bubbler is like an aquarium pump running all the time making noise and vibration. I don't only watch them I catch them for her.

Well I gave the Mino-Mizer a workout Friday. It worked good, only 3 or 4 real small shiner died. Maybe I handled them too rough. All the larger ones had no problem and I returned about 2 dozen back into the main tank at home. I'll continue to report how it does. One day's test isn't enough to form an opinion.

As promised, a follow up. Having used the Mino-Mizer several times now I'm reporting that it works just fine. Last couple of times out no dead minnows. It is very quiet and uses almost no power. I have mine attached to my starting battery via the adapter I bought with the unit. The only thing I didnn't like about it is the wiring to hook up the adapter. I will remedy that by permanently attaching the adapter to the supply wire and add a cigarette lighter adapter to the end to connect it to the boats power. That way I can carry minnows in my truck also and run the unit.

I am glad it works well -- I prefer the little Battery Eater bubble box with the air stone on a tube. It makes catching minnows a snap. I also use the Ice bottles as pushing 80 Degree air through the pump heats up the water. I usually keep the Fish alive in the Ice chest with the same bubble Box Air pump and Gallon size Frozen milk Containers or Two Liter bottles

I had one. Don't waste your money. The Marine Metals double tube 12 volt aerator will handle both minnow bucket and live well or run both lines to bucket or livewell for plenty of oxygen.
