Thread: This winter will be hard on the Deer

As many of you know every year the deer that are eating Corn from hunters, Stop eating Corn for a while... the reason is their Prefered Food are Acorns --- It packs on pounds of fat that helps them through the winter... Does carrying their not yet Fawns have more food requirments than any other time, You Bet. This year there was not an Acorn Crop for animals that need that food to Survive. The Squirrels are fighting at the Corn Feeders .. I wished I could buy a Pallet like some hunt Clubs, but I will try to see that they will get something... I hope that others do the same!!!!!!

Up here even the Bitter acorns from the Pin Oaks did not make in Lincon Parrish... The Rain kept everything green for plenty of food but all the killing Frost day after day,,, Brown is the Color of the day now.
