This was from the snow day. This is in Morgan City near the bottom of the old bridge. I remember it from my first memories. I was born on front street in 1955, 3 blocks from there and lived 4 blocks from there and went to school my first 7 years at Shannon Elem. across the corner from it. My only MaMa who was alive when I was born, lived in a little house , behind a house across the street from the boat. My BIL remodeled the old MC motel across the street from this boat. One room at a time, in the 70's. I have a long history with that town. I hope it is still there for another bunch of years. First time I saw a picture with snow on it, but it has been that way before. Merry Christmas everyone.
Funny how a picture can send the memories rushing in. "D"Name: MC SANTA.jpg

I just had five of our petroleum engineering students complete the intense 3 day BOSIET training at the UL MSTC. BOSIET includes HUET, safety equipment, sea survival, first aid, firefighting, rescue in smoke filled areas, etc. BOSIET is recognized worldwide.

They were able to do this because we are now in the Christmas break. I'm off as well until mid January. Next round will begin next Monday. I flat tear this up Walmart shoppers. Can't help myself, it's the way I roll.

That's Great Radney. Is this part of their curriculum or are they going above and beyond?
