Interesting you say that. I designed my house on pads like those. Applied for the building permit, electrical permit, and plumbing permit. They didn't know what to think of me when I showed up. Done deal. Zero mortgage here.

I married an artist as well. Actually had her own business going for a while full time in pottery, then when back to work. Excellent scientist as well, BS degree at Kentucky, then a masters at Virginia Tech. Very good musician with a grand piano in the living room (too large for me), numerous fiddles, etc.

    She's pretty too!

Well that makes her part Hokie Tell her I've fished the duck pond on campus. Caught a few small bass on a beetle spin.

I spent a week at https://bsa-brmc.org/reservation for years every summer. They had a fish camp https://bsa-brmc.org/fishcamp that I got to participate in. Got the badge to prove it.

Love that area of our country.

You're right JR, pretty place for sure, love the military campuses. She tells me about the duck pond. Hokie for sure, remember going up there 20+ years ago. I asked her, "what's the deal with the turkeys?'"

Randy, did you marry up? Can't argue with your confidence. I think you make a great couple for sure. Next month we celebrate 51 years so we must be compatible.
