2019 BigEyeCrappieman Championship Results

The Good Lord saved the best day for last . What an awesome fishing day it was . The fish pretty much bit all day. The wind was light and it did not rain on me . The teams headed out very early . Most started before light and finished up at 4:00pm . As they slowly started coming back in the stories were lots of fish caught some got away and “ I should have stayed where I was” The Team Who were Crowned The 2019 Points Champions Jack Sandlin and Dean Atkinson didn’t move from their choice of Place to fish for the day as they stayed put on biting fish and went on to win the 2019 BigEyeCrappieman Championship Tournament sweeping the Series . The Team of Eddie Clifton And Scott Clifton won the Big Fish of the Day with a 2.450 Beauty . Jack and Dean edged out the 2nd Place team of Michael Pruitt and Johnathan Wilson by just a few ounces . 3rd Place went to Charles Ervin Henderson, Dennis Reynolds and Jim Fisher who were also just a few ounces behind. We handed out some great door prizes donated by Ridgecrest Outdoor Ministry. Great thanks goes out to Art Ferrell who was beside me most of the year as we put on this series. Jeff Dalton and his little buddy were a great help at the weigh in . A Special Thanks also goes out To Ridgecrest Baptist Church who supports this Great Series and Ministry . Jim Burch and John Wyckoff also helped in a few events in some nasty weather . Thanks for the support and help from all who participated and encouraged us as we put these on this year. During our final Devotion time of the year we shared from the Book of Numbers in Gods Holy Word where the Israelites who had been delivered after 400 years of slavery . They grumbled against God and Moses . So God sent snakes which bit the people and some got sick and died . They cried out for help. So God told Moses to make a Bronze snake put it on a pole and lift it up for all to see. Those who looked upon the snake would be healed . Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew that “ as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert so the son of man must be lifted up . “ and all who looked Him would be saved. We’ve all been bitten by the serpent . The serpent of satan . And because of that bite we’re are all sick and will all die in our sins . That snake represents sin and Jesus being lifted up upon the cross just like that serpent Moses held up in the desert is picture of Jesus taking all our sin upon himself. Gods Word says in Corinthians “ He who knew no sin became sin for us “ all our sins were placed on him . All of God’s Judgement that was due for us was placed on Him. When you call on The name above all names Jesus . Who was lift up . You will be healed spiritually from your sins . Healed and Being able to live with Jesus forever . Praising Him and fishing with Him in streams and lakes we can’t even imagine. Thank you Jesus for that Hope . Thank you for the great year we had . Thanks for the fellowship on and beside the water with this great community of fishermen you have assembled.
