Other than dropping your own, best ways of finding piles is while you are out fishing, make a mental note where you see others fishing. especially if they are fishing around a orange marker bouy

How far out do you typically look at your side imaging? The unit I have actually has that option on there.

Another thing that helps, is looking for landmark that you would use to mark a brush pile location.
Other fisherman do the same thing.

with a 5” screen your gonna be real limited in how far out you cannlook and actually find something, i have a 12” er and run mine 100’ out each side, youd be better off to sink your own
I always see lazy potlickers with binoculars watching me set mine out.

Troll around fishing for Stripers with umbrella rigs you will find everyone of them. Then get out your rig retriever back up to your stuck rid, hit waypoint on your GPS while your trying to get your rigs out of the brush. Mark the waypoints to miss them or to fish them works both ways. No joke
