Default New to Crappie from Raleigh, which lake will be hot this weekend?

    Hey Everyone,
    New to this forum.

Looking for a little advice about which lake to target on Saturday 2/18. We are a crew of 4, using two canoes to fish out of. All of us are very experienced Catfisherman, but this is our first year crappie fishing.

Which lake is hot right now? Jordan, Falls or Harris?

Have the fish moved off the winter pattern, and started into more of a pre spawn shallower water staging?

Any reccomendations for boat ramps to launch from and structure/contours to hit?

I know we all have honey holes, go to lures and superstitions, but any advice is much appreciated!!!! We have only been able to really get onto white perch this year

You might PM some of the bigeye top finishers but they're back there this weekend and at the other lakes too so things are kinda hush hush. CCA at Harris on the 25th so not a lot of talk on the forum.

I would go to Jordan and put in at Ferrignton, and fish around the bridge and maybe up in the creek at the main ramp and then hang around for the weigh in, you guys will see a lot of good fish weighed in and some of those guys will probably share some tips after the tournament, and you also get to hear a great testimony from Rod King, good luck

Come be part of the tournament. We had a kayak guy compete last year. Rod King, the Bigeyecrappieman, caught some fish shallow last Sat. and you can get some input from him when you register. It's only $25 per boat.
