We caught some scrubs, mostly i was there to setup pontoon boat as this was my first time on the water with it. It worked good easy to do what i now need to catch fish. I am going to start fishing Badin a lot, but need to learn the lake all over again. I havent fished there much in the last 20 yrs. any suggestions on where too start would be appreciated. my home area on the lake will be the Whipp or will camp ground.

The river side is good. Go under train track toward Tuckertown. Golf course usually good.
K thanks all information appreciated, Is the train trestle fish able like the rocks?

Some fish at night on all the pylons. Ive never fished them. There is a set of pylons beside the trestle where they were going to build a bridge or it may have been a bridge at one time. I have caught fish on those. They are way under the water and you have to see them on fish finder. I mainly fish the big open area know as the "community hole". Go under the trestle and look for the boats.
K thanks that sounds promising, and right up my alley.
