Looks like interference. Does it only do it when running with the gas motor? If so it is electric interference.
Can anyone help me with this problem going on with my Hummingbird? For some reason when I have it on this certain screen it has these lines in it.
Thanks!!

Hey Woodie, post that on the electronics board. Ricky and the other Tech Guru's will help you out!
Woodie, i sent the pic to a close personal friend of mine who is a damn good electrician and who did all the fine wiring on it.
He is pretty confident you have either 1, a bad connection to either the transducer/back of the unit, or #2 just a bad transducer all together. Hopefully its #1
Some of the hummingbirds transducers fit in 2 plugs in the back of the unit. If this is the case, check to make sure its in the right one.

It is plugged in the right plugs, it was working fine then all of a sudden it did this. It only has these lines in this particular screen. It doesn't do it in the side image or switch fire. Could that still be a bad transducer?
Go to HB web page and get a free software update. That will rule out anything wrong with the unit.
I seem to remember having this happen to me. For the life of me I can't remember how I resolved it. What ever it was it was simple. So go back and check the basic stuff. Cables, power etc.
Had a problem the same as this with a 899.
That is a known software bug in the Side Imaging units. Using a Chart Speed of 2 in combination with the Sharpness being used is what seems to be causing this. I do not know when this was fixed but it was with a software update.
Can't remember which update resolves this but make sure that you have the latest. Turn off sharpness and don't use chart speed. See if this works.
