Forgot mention entry is $40 per boat and it will payout one place for every five boats entered.

in the spirit of encouraging the youth to fish, i am gonna tweak the 2 person per boat rule to 2 adults per boat, and as many kids as the boat will allow.
wanted to add it to the top but it doesnt allow me to edit my post any longer.
ya'll pass the word around and i'll see ya'll saturday morning.

Way to go Kevin. Like the "encouraging the youth to fish part". Wish I had talked to you when I was trying to see if there was any interest in keeping the SCA afloat. Pretty much found out its all about the check not the sport. I hope you make a go of it sir. Good luck.

Thanks, I'll have one or two of mine there if they'll get out of bed.

The sca went under because the payback dropped to 70%, I understand it costs to put these on but that's to much, and the fishermen spoke, these are 100% payback and these smaller tx's are more the fun type with just enough involved to wet your competitive appetite. The sport will never grow if we don't include the next generation. The CCA also allows a youth to fish with two adults, I think they have to be 12 or under. Fishing in a tx is a bit more exciting than a regular day of fishing. Come on out and see for yourselves. we're making new friends and learning a bit more about something we all enjoy.

Well stated--I enjoy the fishing, but enjoy the time chatting with friends afterwards. Always good to make new friends as well.
