    Default LOZ 4/29

Started off bass fishing and did ok throwing a wacky worm in the morning but nothing big. Decided to crappie fish late morning into the afternoon and not a single fish. Crappiejoe12 was also down there and got skunked. I've only been crappie fishing three times this year and limited twice but it was a workout getting 15. I can't ever remember going in April and not catching anything. So far, this has been the worst spawning season Ive ever had. Some say not many have spawned yet but hell idk LOZ 4/29

I've been killing them on my home lakes but with all the rain and changing temps not sure they were ever committed on the banks. Fished LSL yesterday and caught tons of smaller crappie and 10 keepers, many of which were still in colors. calling my buddy I gave them too to see what the eggs looked like on females.

on smaller lake caught 3 male keepers but they wern't beat up.

Each individual lake has a different spawn time at least where I fish. Have seen it where had great few weeks of spawn on one only to have one dozen miles away go into it mid may and into june. that's in northern MO.
