    Default Still shallow


    Really cold this morning so Jake (baitwaster) and I waited till 8 to pull the boat out of storage. Lots of layers but not too bad running back to the mouth of Brushy creek. Long idle back to the area we are fishing then put the lines in. Not as many dinks but we did keep quite a few small keepers with a nice mix of slabs. Found Mr Green Jeans just for fun. Kept 21 total and released about half a dozen keepers that were really skinny. Ended up a beautiful day over all. Dead calm to just a light breeze.
