    Default MO Spring camp pics

Looking for KABOOM at camp and it came but from unexpected source. Came with mac and after dropping him at launch and driving to marina he calls and said KABOOM hit and he was bleeding a lot. Drove back over and he had slipped with big gash on top of head and with towel up drying to stem bleeding. Long story short he ended up in local ER with 8 staples. Not exactly the start we were going for but as keeferfish pointed out was still KABOOM.

Good news after I picked him up he was doing well and in good spirits. We went to camp and he ate and was talking to everyone and in fine form.

40+ folks there Friday with BBQ, brats, chicken and fine sides and good desserts including terrific cobblers. Good times, stories even tho fishing was spotty and few did real well. Weather was fine.

Next day was really nice tho too windy for most of our tastes for fishing. Especially myself as I'm not usually in boat fighting TM to stay fishable and only caught couple before we quit. Prefer wandering banksor docks . Mac was a trooper.the

Sat at camp till the fish fry and met quite a few new folks and got to listen to the stories.

Meal was great as always with grizwilson and hogster doing majority of cooking with several ladies helping keeping the food flowing. Great time was had by all. Weather was hot and nice.

Here are a few I took to try and capture scene. Feel free to add any you all did.Name: 20230506_202059.jpg

Glad you can laugh at the incident mac. BTW will attest to the Bass Boat being in good shape and runs well. Plus it has NOT been used a lot over last few years and would make someone a dependable platform to fish out of. Lil cleanup on the blood shouldn't be too hard tho it did look like a crime scene from CSI for a while.
